Due to the continued success of the annual shows, the Atlantic Entertainment Expo (AEX) is thrilled to announce its commitment to funding the Atlantic Award Initiative (AAI), a prestigious awards program that recognizes the extraordinary achievements and contributions of individuals, groups, organizations, and movements in Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick.
Formerly known as the Atlantic Award Group (Isleawards & Brunwards) which stopped presenting awards in 2017, the newly revitalized AAI will continue its mission of discovering and honouring those who have gone above and beyond, making significant impacts in their communities and beyond. AAI stands out for its unique approach, focusing on the question: “Who is extraordinary and why?” This open-ended inquiry allows the program to celebrate a diverse range of accomplishments that might otherwise go unrecognized.
The Atlantic Award Initiative will now be a featured event at AEX’s shows in Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick, providing a dynamic platform to honor extraordinary individuals in front of a captivated audience. Additionally, there are plans to expand the awards back to Nova Scotia, with the anticipated launch of AEX in the province in the near future.
The Atlantic Award Initiative remains steadfast in its mission to discover and celebrate the extraordinary, ensuring that remarkable stories of courage, innovation, and compassion receive the recognition they deserve.
