We have panels on various topics of interest. You’ll have an opportunity to learn and ask questions. You can participate in debate and meaningful topics from across the industry.
WORKSHOPS
The expo houses lots of hands on activities and workshops. Learn new things and experience new opportunities. We’ve partnered with relevant local companies to offer these.

Whether you play on a table or on the floor, we have lots of classic games to play. We also have lots of indie titles for you to try for the first time through our various partners. Now roll a 6!
ACOUSTIC
We have an acoustic stage which allows attendees to book a slot and perform to the attendees as they pass between halls. It’s a great way to experience local talent. Apply via the get involved page.
COSPLAY
With over 4,000 attendees*, you’ll be amazed by an array of cosplays. While you may not recognize them all, it’s easy to get swept away as your favourite characters walk on by.

Looking to add to your merch? We have a selection of regional dealers who bring a wealth of goodies to the show. Perhaps you are looking for trading cards, figurines or branded clothes.

We have a wide range of consoles for you to play. From the latest and greatest to the classics from the 80s, 90s and 2000s. We offer a range of titles each day and interactive sessions for all ages. It’s a great way to experience gaming.

How do I apply the cosplay discount?
On the Eventbrite portal there is a button to apply a discount. Click it before you make your purchase and enter COSPLAY as your code. This will apply a 10% savings! If you’re not in cosplay, your ticket becomes invalid.
I want to bring my kids, what next?
We offer FREE entry to children 12 and under. You don’t need to tell us in advance. We’ve allocated space for a large number of kids, so we won’t run out of room. You can bring two children with every paying adult. Children 13 and older need a pass.
How do I apply a student discount?
On the Eventbrite portal there is a button to apply a discount. Click it before you make your purchase and enter STUDENT as your code. This will apply a 10% savings! Student ID will be required on the day. Don’t forget!
I want to apply for a table, is there a charge?
No. However, each individual working at your table requires a pass. Please consult the display information on our website. If you have any questions, just reach out and we’ll be happy to help!
I have a disability, will I require assistance?
AEX is on two levels and shouldn’t cause you any problems. There are elevators available and an escalator. However, if you have specific concerns you wish to discuss with us, reach out and we’ll try to assist you!
Are tickets transferable or refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred free of charge. Just log in to Eventbrite and update the personal information on the ticket. Tickets are electronically scanned on arrival.
I want to change from one day to another, can I do that?
Unfortunately we cannot move between days and you cannot use a ticket for one day on another. You must have the correct tickets for the day you attend.
